Moodi complies with applicable Korean laws and regulations relating to the protection of personal information, including the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection and the Personal Information Protection Act. Moodi places great importance on the personal information provided by its Members and has established this Privacy Policy in accordance with applicable laws and regulations to protect Users’ rights and interests.

This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) explains how Moodi collects personal information, the purposes for which such information is used, how it is stored and destroyed, and the measures Moodi takes to protect personal information in connection with services available only to Users who have completed the prescribed membership registration process. Members may review this Policy at any time. This Policy may be amended from time to time due to changes in laws or government guidelines or for the purpose of providing improved services.

Terms not defined in this Privacy Policy shall have the meanings set forth in the Terms of Service.

Article 1 (Personal Information Collected and Purposes of Use)


Moodi collects only the minimum amount of personal information necessary to provide the Service, and all collected personal information is used only within the scope of the purposes notified to Members. Moodi collects and uses Members’ personal information as follows.

Article 2 (Retention and Use Period of Personal Information)


  1. Moodi processes and retains personal information within the retention and use period agreed to by Members at the time the personal information is collected.

  2. Where Moodi is required to retain personal information pursuant to applicable laws and regulations, Moodi retains only the minimum necessary information for the period prescribed by such laws and regulations. In such cases, the retained information shall be used only for purposes required by law.

  3. Moodi’s processing and retention periods are as follows.

    ① Membership registration and management: Until withdrawal from membership. However, where an investigation or inquiry concerning a violation of applicable laws or regulations is ongoing, the information may be retained until such investigation or inquiry is completed. ② Where retention is required under applicable laws and regulations:

Article 3 (Procedures and Methods for Destruction of Personal Information)


  1. Destruction Procedures and Period

    Moodi, in principle, destroys personal information without delay when the purpose of collection and use has been fulfilled or when the retention and use period specified in Article 2 has expired. However, information that must be retained pursuant to applicable laws and regulations shall be separately stored for the period prescribed by law and destroyed thereafter.

  2. Method of Destruction

    Moodi stores all personal information in electronic file format and destroys such information in a manner that prevents recovery or reproduction in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
